Ea va merge la plimbare, va aprecia compania ta și va ignora ceilalți. Ar putea trăi cu un câine masculin, sau probabil cu o femeie foarte calmă, atâta timp cât există reguli clare și limite în casă pentru amândouă. De asemenea, nu-i place copiii mici. Imagine the perfect dog. A dog who responds to commands, who participates flawlessly in group training, who sits by your side like a guide dog. With composure, awareness, empathy. Now don’t take anything away. Instead, add something. Add a few small quirks: she doesn’t get along perfectly with all dogs. She’s not the kind of dog you’d take to a dog park to play freely. She’ll go for her walks, enjoy your company, and ignore the others. She could live with a male dog, or possibly with a very calm female, as long as there are clear rules and boundaries in the home for both. She’s also not a fan of young children. She would do best in an adult household or with older kids. And she really doesn’t like cats. That’s Toffee. A perfect dog with many imperfections. Perfectly imperfect. Toffee was found on the street, where she had given birth. She came to the shelter with her puppies, raised them with great care, and they were all adopted. She was not. She has lived in a home before. She walks well on a leash, understands how to behave as a companion animal, and could transition back into a home environment with ease.
