Bam gillar att kramas och vara nära när han känner sig bekväm. I början är han tveksam vid nya personer; han hittar det lättare att bli vän med någon om det finns goda belöningar eller om du vill spela fetch. Bam älskar att jaga bollar, leka med tuggy-spel och gnissla med ljuvliga leksaker. Han är en glädjefylld person som lär sig träningsuppgifter snabbt. Han vet redan sitta, höja foten och vänta. Hans favoritbelöningar är ost, kyckling och broccoli. Bam njuter av promenader i tystare områden så att han kan slappna av, tysta hundfria områden är avgörande för framgång eftersom han tydligt visar att han är orolig för andra hundar som kommer för nära. Bam skulle ha fördel av adoptanter som kan hjälpa honom bygga självförtroende kring andra hundar, arbeta på ett avstånd där han känner sig bekväm. (Vi kan hjälpa och stödja adoptanter med detta.) I hemmiljö är Bam lugn och avslappnad. Han gillar att surfa runt i trädgården, han är inte särskilt förtjust i stoftosset, han ägnar sig åt ljudrika miljöer och går själv till säng när han vill. Hemkrav: Bam är en trevlig tvåårig labradorpooldesign som söker ett kärligt hem. Han kan bo med ungdomar som är 16 år och äldre, letar efter att vara den enda hunden i hemmet och behöver ett hem utan katter eller små pälsdjur. Vaksamhet krävs vid boskap. Bam är uttränad. Han reser bra i bilen på korta resor. Han är nöjd med att vara ensam i hemmet i några timmar i taget om det byggs upp gradvis. Bam is a bright, affectionate boy who forms strong bonds with the people he knows and trusts. Once you've become friends, he absolutely loves snuggles, spending time close to his people, and being part of family life. Although he can be shy when meeting new people, Bam's playful side soon shines through. The quickest way to his heart is often through a tasty treat or a game of fetch! He loves chasing tennis balls, playing tug, and carrying around his favourite squeaky toys. Bam is a clever lad who enjoys learning and picks up training quickly. He already knows several cues, including sit, paw, and wait, and is always keen to show off his skills. Especially if cheese, chicken, or broccoli are on offer as a reward. At home, Bam is a settled and easy-going companion. He enjoys pottering around the garden, relaxing with his family, and happily taking himself off to bed when he's ready for some downtime. While he's not a fan of the hoover or particularly loud environments, he thrives in a home where he can enjoy a calm and predictable routine. Bam prefers quieter walking areas because he can feel worried when unfamiliar dogs come too close. He would benefit from adopters who are willing to continue helping him build positive associations and confidence around other dogs at a distance where he feels comfortable. For someone looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion, Bam has so much to offer and is ready to become a much-loved member of the family. Bam is a handsome two-year-old Lab Cross Poodle with a loving nature and lots of potential. He is looking for a home with teenage children aged 16 years and over and would like to be the only dog in the household. Bam will need a home without cats or small furries, and care may be needed around livestock. Bam is housetrained, travels well in the car for shorter journeys, and can happily be left alone for a few hours at a time once this has been built up gradually. He could settle well into a reasonably busy household, although he can be a little shy around new visitors initially and appreciates being given time to get to know people at his own pace. To help him feel relaxed and confident, Bam will need access to quieter walking locations where he can enjoy his walks without encountering large numbers of dogs.
