Beautiful Biscotti is an incredibly sweet boy with an abundance of love to give. He is very much a people's dog and has formed strong bonds with his handlers here in the centre. He can find the outside world a bit worrying but leans on those bonds formed to help him build his confidence. Biscotti has shown that when he is given time, patience and love, he begins to come out of his shell. He has already made so much progress at the centre, including making new walking buddy friends. His ideal night would be curled up on a sofa under a blanket, snuggled up next to his adopters. He will be an incredibly rewarding dog for a home that can offer stability and patience so that he can blossom into his fun, goofy, cuddly self. Biscotti, a 5-year-old Lurcher, is a very sweet, sensitive boy who is working on building his confidence. He can find the outside world a bit worrying and will need a family who are happy to give him the time to build his confidence and slowly open his world up. He is a very friendly dog and would be happy going to a home with secondary-aged children who understand that he may need some quiet time to adjust and decompress. Biscotti could have younger visiting children if supervised and, once settled, will be happy having regular visitors. Biscotti would need to be the only dog in the home but would be happy having walking buddies. He could go to a home with small furries, birds or livestock if kept separate. Ideally, Biscotti needs a calm home environment with a family who will give him the time and patience to blossom in his new home.
