Chats listed as needing rescue have an even more urgent need to find a family. This can be due to their age, a specific illness, or distress at the shelter. Caramel was abandoned on the street when his owner had to go to a retirement home, finding himself alone from one day to the next. He was then taken in by the shelter to be made safe and find a new family. He is a social cat who gets along well with other cats and had shown a very close bond with the person caring for him. Affectionate and sensitive, he tends to be stressed at the shelter, which can make his adaptation more difficult. This behavior does not necessarily reflect his true personality, which will be more able to express itself in a calm and secure environment. Health-wise, Caramel is a carrier of Feline AIDS. He will therefore need to live exclusively indoors to preserve his health and well-being. Caramel is seeking a patient and kind family willing to offer him the stability, gentleness, and security he needs. In return, he will be able to relax, regain confidence, and become the affectionate cat he is.

Les chats signalés en « sauvetage » ont un besoin encore plus urgent de trouver une famille. Cela peut être lié à leur âge, une pathologie particulière ou un mal-être au refuge. Caramel a été abandonné dans la rue lorsque son maître a dû partir en maison de repos, se retrouvant seul du jour au lendemain. Il a ensuite été pris en charge par le refuge afin d’être mis en sécurité et de trouver une nouvelle famille. C’est un chat sociable, qui s’entend bien avec les autres chats et qui s’était montré très proche de la personne qui prenait soin de lui. Attachant et sensible, il a toutefois tendance à être stressé au refuge, ce qui peut rendre son adaptation plus difficile. Ce comportement ne reflète pas forcément sa vraie personnalité, qui pourra davantage s’exprimer dans un environnement calme et sécurisant. Côté santé, Caramel est porteur du Sida du chat. Il devra donc vivre exclusivement en intérieur afin de préserver sa santé et son bien-être. Caramel recherche une famille patiente et bienveillante, prête à lui offrir la stabilité, la douceur et la sécurité dont il a besoin. En retour, il pourra se détendre, reprendre confiance et redevenir pleinement le chat attachant qu’il est.
