Cats marked as "rescue" have an even more urgent need to find a family. This can be related to their age, a particular illness, or distress at the shelter. Caramel was abandoned in the street after his owner had to move to a home, leaving him alone overnight. He is a friendly cat who gets along with other cats and has shown closeness to the lady who took care of him. At the shelter, he is stressed, which makes his adaptation more complicated, but this does not necessarily reflect his behavior in a calm environment. Caramel is FIV positive and therefore cannot have access to the outside.

Les chats signalés en « sauvetage » ont un besoin encore plus urgent de trouver une famille. Cela peut être lié à leur âge, une pathologie particulière ou un mal-être au refuge. Caramel a été abandonné dans la rue après que son maître ait dû partir vivre en home, se retrouvant seul du jour au lendemain. C’est un chat sociable, qui s’entend avec les autres chats et s’est montré proche de la dame qui s’occupait de lui. Au refuge, il est stressé, ce qui rend son adaptation plus compliquée, mais cela ne reflète pas forcément son comportement en environnement calme. Caramel est porteur Sida du chat et donc ne pourra pas avoir d’accès à l’extérieur.
