22-10-26 Enfys is the most wonderful girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Shortly after Enfys arrived with us, we discovered she was pregnant and she soon gave birth to one puppy. She has been the most wonderful mum to little Eddie and now that he is old enough to find his forever home, Enfys is ready to start looking for her family too. When she first arrived she was quite a worried girl, but she has settled in well and has really started to come out of her shell. She now absolutely adores the staff members who she knows well, but is still quite worried when meeting new people or experiencing new places, which is understandable. Enfys is such a funny character, her favourite thing in the world is to roll over onto her back, which has been affectionately called her "diva downs" by those who know her! She loves to do zoomies around the play yard in the mornings while she waits for her breakfast to be prepared! We think with time, love and care she is going to blossom into the most wonderful girl. Enfys can be quite worried, but can be an only dog in her home, with adopters who are able to offer her plenty of attention and time. However, she can live with another chilled dog who doesn't mind that she can be protective of her toys and will allow her to create her own safe space. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and who will help her to settle in at her own pace. We would consider homing her with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 16+. Enfys has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She has learned all about walking on a lead and harness while being with us and walks well although can be unsure in new surroundings, so will need more practice to gain confidence. Enfys is a lovely girl who is already showing us little flashes of her personality. She has so much potential, and we know that with the right experienced home, she will continue to blossom. Our vet has noted that she has a Grade 1 patella luxation in her right hind leg, which will need to be monitored although may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle. She has been treated for a skin rash and has some areas of alopecia. She has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
