Flower is looking for a calm, adult-only home where her boundaries will be respected and she can settle into life without pressure. Any time left alone should be introduced very gradually as she adjusts to her new routine. Her adopters will need patience above all else—the key to earning the trust of this sweet little girl is allowing her the time and space she needs to blossom into a confident companion. Flower is an adorable Chihuahua girl, approximately 1 to 18 months old, who is looking for a very special home. She is a shy and worried little dog who takes time to trust new people and will need several meet-and-greets before she is ready to go home, allowing her to build trust with her new family at her own pace. Flower has had very little experience of the outside world, so many everyday sights and sounds can feel overwhelming. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding, and committed to helping her gradually build confidence through positive experiences. Despite her worries, Flower is a typical playful Chihuahua who enjoys playing with toys and, once she feels safe, has a fun and affectionate personality waiting to shine.
