If it's true that we can learn a lot from dogs, then Homer would be a great teacher on how to live life fully, even in the toughest circumstances. Look at his story - he spent his life with a person who shouldn't have dogs, and now he's in an animal shelter. It's unknown whether this is worse or better. Life is surely still difficult and unfriendly. He doesn't know any other Homer. Condemned to a strange place and bars, he is able to trust and love new people. He makes friendships with female dogs, enjoys every walk, every adventure. He takes every chance 100% - he learns how to live among dogs with whom he previously had difficult relationships. He thinks, gathers experiences, develops. It's hard work, but he gets great pleasure from it. He shivers in the cold, suffers in isolation, gets frustrated in the noise, but always greets a person with enthusiasm, ready for anything that is offered to him. He has that kind of perseverance and inner peace that others envy. He just lacks a friend who will give him a chance for a life worthy of that big dog smile with which he greets us.

Myśli, zbiera doświadczenia, rozwija się. To ciężka praca, ale on ma z tego wielką frajdę. Marznie w mrozy, cierpi w izolacji, frustruje w hałasie, ale zawsze wita człowieka z entuzjazmem, gotów na wszystko, co mu zaproponuje.
