Kazu är en 8 månader gammal han Japanese Akita Inu som söker ett nytt hem utan något fel på hans sida. Tyvärr är han ett exempel på vad som kan hända när en valp inte får den tid, ansträngning, socialisering och träning som behövs från början. Detta är så synd, eftersom Kazu är en riktigt trevlig ung hund som verkligen vill gilla och lära sig. Som många unga valpar kan Kazu vara ganska ljudlig och har för närvarande vissa brister i sin beteendemässiga utveckling. Med rätt ledning kan detta absolut förbättras. Han behöver en ägare som kommer att ge fast men rättvisa gränser och hjälpa honom att lära sig reglerna för att vara en balanserad och vänlig Akita Inu. När någon vill investera tid, tålamod och konsekvent träning i Kazu kommer det att hjälpa honom att blomstra och verkligen uppnå sin raspotential. På grund av hans levande och ljudliga natur skulle Kazu bäst passa en familj med hundkunniga barn som är 12 år eller äldre. En aktiv och rimligt frisk ägare skulle också passa honom bra, eftersom han kommer att få fördel av regelbundna motioner, engagemang och fortsatt träning. Kazu är inte lämplig att bo i en lägenhet, och han skulle göra det bäst i ett hem med tillräckligt med utrymme och en säker trädgård med 6 feet hög stängsel där han kan vila och fortsätta att lära sig världen vid sitt eget tempo. Kazu behöver vara ensam husdjur i hemmet. Han har visat en tendens att jaga katter och kom inte överens med den bostadsboende hanen i hans tidigare hem. Han kan även vara reaktiv mot andra hundar, så kontinuerlig hantering och träning blir viktigt. Den här fina unge mannen har mycket potential och mycket kärlek att ge. I rätt hem med rätt ledning och engagemang kan Kazu växa till en underbar kamrat och en underbar representant för sin ras. Kazu is a 1 year old male Japanese Akita Inu with a big personality, a clever mind, and so much potential. Sadly, he is a young dog who has missed out on some of the early guidance, structure, and training that puppies need in order to grow into confident and well mannered adults. Despite this, Kazu is a genuinely lovely young dog who wants to learn, engage, and build a strong bond with his people. Like many adolescent Akitas, Kazu is currently full of enthusiasm and can be boisterous at times. He is still learning his manners and boundaries, but this handsome boy is eager to please and responds brilliantly to positive, consistent guidance. Since arriving in our care, our volunteers have been spending time working with Kazu and he has already shown how intelligent and eager to learn he is. Once his initial excitement settles, his focus improves greatly and he responds very well to positive reinforcement. He is highly food motivated, enjoys training sessions, and is already happy to offer a paw in return for a tasty reward. Kazu is looking for an owner who understands the Japanese Akita Inu breed and is prepared to invest the time, patience, and consistency needed to help him become the well balanced companion we know he can be. With the right leadership and ongoing training, he has every chance to flourish into a wonderful ambassador for his breed. Due to his lively nature, Kazu would be best suited to a home with dog savvy children aged 12 years and over. He would also benefit from an active and reasonably fit owner who can provide him with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training opportunities. Kazu is not suited to life in a flat and will need a home with plenty of space and a secure garden with 6ft fencing where he can safely relax and continue learning about the world around him at his own pace. He will need to be the only pet in the home. Kazu has shown a tendency to chase cats and did not get along with the resident male dog in his previous home. He can also be reactive towards other dogs, so ongoing management and sensible handling around other animals will be essential. Underneath the excitement and typical adolescent behaviour is a loving young Japanese Akita Inu with a huge amount of potential. Kazu simply needs an owner who will see the wonderful dog he can become and give him the time, patience, and commitment he deserves.
