Vänlig liten Leonardo gavs upp av sin jägare och tacksamt steg ett av våra utmärkta partnerhundställ in för att erbjuda honom en plats hos dem. Han är verkligen en vänlig liten man som är mindre än vad hans bilder visar! Han är bra med andra hundar och på räddningsstationen där han är, får han också exponering för grisar, getter och hästar samt hundar i alla olika storlekar och raser. Han har inte testats mot katter, men det kan ordnas eftersom de också har katter där. Han är nyfiken och lekfull, som inte tar lång tid att bygga upp sitt självförtroende och närma sig dig för lite uppmärksamhet. I ett hem tror vi att han skulle ta emot kramar mycket snabbt! Leonardo är en god allroundare, han kan leva som enda hund eller med andra hundar. Vi tror också att han kan vara flexibel avseende plats, även om en adoptör i en intensiv stad behöver vara tålmodig och hjälpa honom att anpassa sig. Vi tror att Leonardo kan vara en bra kandidat för barn från 8 år och uppåt. Leonardo är kastrerad, vaccinerad och tester negativ för alla Medelhavssjukdomar utom Babesia – som redan nämnts har han tester positiv och får behandling för detta, så vi kan testa igen för att få klart sig. Sweet little Leonardo was being given up by his hunter and thankfully one of our wonderful partner kennels stepped in to offer him a spot with them. He’s a really sweet little chap who is smaller than his photos make him look! He is great with other dogs and at the rescue where he is at, he also gets exposure to pigs, goats and horses along with dogs of all different sizes and breeds. He’s not been cat tested, but that can be arranged as they also do have cats there. He’s a curious and playful little chap, who doesn’t take too long to build his confidence and approach you for some fuss. In a home, we expect he would welcome cuddles very quickly! Leonardo is a good all rounder, he could live as an only dog, or with other canine companions. We also think he could be flexible in terms of location, although in a busy city an adopter would need to be patient and help him adjust. We think Leonardo could be a good candidate for a children 8+. Leonardo is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Babesia - as already stated he has tested positive and is receiving treatment for this, so we can retest for the all clear.
