12-åriga Lola är en konstig flicka med en nyfiken och behaglig personlighet. Hon är hos Dogs4Rescue i Manchester och väntar på ett särskilt hem. Observera att de bara lämnar ut djur inom norra västområdet. Lola var en vild hund och kommer inte att tåla att bli berörda eller gå ut, men hon har levt lyckligt i ett hem i flera år och gillar hemmabehov. Hon har tillbringat tid i en fostermamma där hon har varit gästnumret – hon är tyst, ren och inte skadegörende. Lola älskar mjuka leksaker. När Lola kom var hon mycket överviktig. Hon är nu vid ett häftigt viktmeny men räddningsgården har upptäckt att hennes historia av att njuta av söta bitar har gjort henne ganska krävande när det gäller att äta vanligt hundmat. Hon har fått några tänder borttagna och kommer att behöva en mjuk kost. Hennes tunga sticka ut till sidan av munnen, men detta säkert bara gör henne ännu mer charmfull! Lola är på medicin för urininkontinens som har fungerat underbart och hon har ingen olycka längre. Lola får det bra med andra hundar men man tror att hon bäst passar att vara den enda hunden i sitt nya hem. Hon har tidigare bott med katter utan några problem. Lola behöver en lugn, tyst, vuxen hemmiljö med ett säkert trädgård. Hon är mycket lugn och skulle vara idealisk för en äldre person som söker sällskap men kanske inte kan träna en hund. 12-year-old Lola is a quirky girl with an inquisitive, endearing personality. She is with Dogs4Rescue in Manchester, waiting for a special home. Note that they only rehome within the North West area. Lola was a feral dog and she will not tolerate being touched nor walked, however she has lived happily in a home for several years and she does enjoy home comforts. She's been spending time in a foster home where she has been the star guest – she is quiet, clean and non-destructive. Lola is particularly fond of soft toys. When Lola arrived she was extremely overweight. She is now at a healthy weight but the rescue has discovered that her history of enjoying sweet treats has resulted in her being rather fussy when it comes to eating regular dog food. She has had to have some teeth removed and she will require a soft diet. Her tongue now sticks out to the side of her mouth, but this surely just adds to her charm! Lola is on medication for urinary incontinence which has been working wonders and she no longer has any accidents. Lola gets along well with other dogs but it's felt that she would be best suited to being the only dog in her new home. She has previously lived with cats without any issue. Lola needs a calm, quiet, adult household with a secure garden. She is very laid back and would be ideal for an elderly person who is looking for company but may not be able to exercise a dog.
