McQueen är en god och stilla själ som bara behöver tålamod för att visa sitt riktiga jag. Tyst och tankfull tar han sin tid på att skapa förtroende men när han känner sig trygg har han redan visat att han kan skapa vackra band, till och med krypa upp i knäet på en favorithandlare för en klapp. Han tycker om att spela med leksaker när Dean börjar roligaste spelet och tydligt får självförtroende från sin hundvän. Även om han för närvarande är för rädd för promenader eller en snabb är McQueens framtid full av hopp med lugna adoptanter som är villiga att gå vid hans taktpaus. Att se denna fina pojke lära sig att världen inte är så räddad kommer att vara en ovanligt speciell resa. Dean, en 1-årig poodlekorsning, och McQueen, en 4-årig poodlekorsning, är ett lojal par som söker ett tålmodigt hem där de kan leva sidongo. Eftersom de har haft ett mycket skyddat liv från början behöver de lugna och förstående adoptanter som kan öppna deras värld steg för steg. Dessa känsliga pojkar behöver bo i ett hem med vuxna endast i en mindre bostadsomgivning eller landsbygd, något lugnt med väldigt lite trafik och tillgång till stilla områden. McQueen is a sweet 4.5-year-old Poodle cross is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to learn about the world and discover just how wonderful life can be. Having had a rough start to life, he is a very nervous boy who is only just beginning to find his feet. He is making lovely progress in his foster home, gaining a little more confidence every day. He is still at the beginning of his journey when it comes to learning the basics of home life, including going outside and getting used to all the sights, sounds and experiences that come with living in a home. He will need a kind and patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to settle at his own pace, without any pressure or expectations. Having grown up surrounded by lots of other dogs, he enjoys canine company and would benefit from having a friendly, well-adjusted dog around to help him feel safe and show him the ropes. The companionship of another dog could make a real difference as he continues to build his confidence. He is also a little worried about travelling in the car, which is understandable as he has had very little experience of it. With gentle, positive introductions and plenty of reassurance, we hope he will become more comfortable with time. We are looking for a special home with people who understand that confidence takes time to grow. He will need a calm, predictable environment, lots of patience and a family who will celebrate the little milestones along the way. He may have a lot to learn, but every small step forward is a big achievement for a boy like him. He will need a calm, understanding home with a confident, friendly resident dog to help him feel safe and continue building his confidence. A home with minimal visitors would be best, as he needs a quiet and predictable environment where he can relax and settle without feeling overwhelmed. He could live with children of secondary school age and older, provided they understand the importance of being patient and giving him space when he needs it. A private, secure garden ishelpful, giving him a safe place to explore and begin learning about the outside world at his own pace.
