Calme et réfléchi, il prend son temps pour construire la confiance, mais une fois qu'il se sent en sécurité, il a déjà démontré qu'il peut former de belles liens, même en montant sur les genoux d'un soigneur préféré pour des caresses. Il apprécie de jouer avec des jouets quand Dean commence le jeu et gagne clairement en confiance grâce à son ami canin. Bien qu'il soit actuellement trop inquiet pour les promenades ou une laisse, l'avenir de McQueen est plein de promesses avec des adoptants calmes prêts à avancer à son rythme. Regarder ce joli garçon apprendre que le monde n'est pas si effrayant sera un voyage extrêmement spécial. Conditions de maison : Dean, un croisé Poodle de 1 an, et McQueen, un croisé Poodle de 4 ans, forment un duo dévoué qui recherche une maison patiente où ils pourront continuer leur vie côte à côte. Ayant connu un début de vie très protégé, ils auront besoin d'adoptants calmes et compréhensifs capables d'ouvrir progressivement leur monde. Ces jeunes hommes sensibles devront vivre dans un foyer exclusivement composé d'adultes, dans un quartier plus petit ou rural, quelque part tranquille avec peu de circulation et accès à des zones calmes. Ils auront besoin de leur propre jardin sécurisé et d'une période d'adaptation douce où ils pourront utiliser le jardin pour continuer à travailler sur leur toilette et à gagner en confiance. Comme ils ne sont pas habitués au grand monde, les promenades, les trajets en voiture et les nouvelles expériences devront être introduites très lentement et à leur rythme. Des visites rares conviendront mieux pour l'instant, car beaucoup de changements peuvent sembler étouffants, mais avec des adoptants patients et une confiance croissante, leur monde peut lentement s'agrandir et s'éclairer. McQueen is a sweet 4.5-year-old Poodle cross is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can continue to learn about the world and discover just how wonderful life can be. Having had a rough start to life, he is a very nervous boy who is only just beginning to find his feet. He is making lovely progress in his foster home, gaining a little more confidence every day. He is still at the beginning of his journey when it comes to learning the basics of home life, including going outside and getting used to all the sights, sounds and experiences that come with living in a home. He will need a kind and patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to settle at his own pace, without any pressure or expectations. Having grown up surrounded by lots of other dogs, he enjoys canine company and would benefit from having a friendly, well-adjusted dog around to help him feel safe and show him the ropes. The companionship of another dog could make a real difference as he continues to build his confidence. He is also a little worried about travelling in the car, which is understandable as he has had very little experience of it. With gentle, positive introductions and plenty of reassurance, we hope he will become more comfortable with time. We are looking for a special home with people who understand that confidence takes time to grow. He will need a calm, predictable environment, lots of patience and a family who will celebrate the little milestones along the way. He may have a lot to learn, but every small step forward is a big achievement for a boy like him. He will need a calm, understanding home with a confident, friendly resident dog to help him feel safe and continue building his confidence. A home with minimal visitors would be best, as he needs a quiet and predictable environment where he can relax and settle without feeling overwhelmed. He could live with children of secondary school age and older, provided they understand the importance of being patient and giving him space when he needs it. A private, secure garden ishelpful, giving him a safe place to explore and begin learning about the outside world at his own pace.
