Monkey could live with sensible secondary school-aged children who are confident around larger, energetic dogs. He may also be able to live with another dog, subject to a successful meet at the centre. Monkey can be a little worried getting into the car, but once he is in, he’s okay. I think the more he goes in the car to exciting places, he will start to get used to it and hopefully enjoy it. Monkey could potentially be left alone but this needs to be built up gradually and only once he is settled. He is looking for a home that understands the breed and is ready to invest the time, patience, and commitment needed to help him grow. He really is a lovely boy who would make a wonderful adventure buddy and would be such an amazing companion. Monkey is a very affectionate 7 month old Malinois cross, he has a very big personality and is looking for an active forever home, in a rural area that has previous experience owning this breed. Monkey is a typical young Mali, so he's full of energy, and loves to stay busy, and is always ready for his next adventure. He is bouncy and playful so would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and ongoing training. He is only young so he is still learning about the world and will benefit from owners who are committed to continuing his training using positive, reward-based methods. He's a clever boy who is eager to learn and has lots of potential in the right home.
