Palma was born on 01/11/2022. Palma is from the Villalube family. It's been 3 and a half weeks since we rescued her along with Ibiza. Although it's taking longer than it did for River, Cleo, and Mérida, we can say we're seeing progress in them. Palma arrived with extreme panic, she wouldn't show her ears, wouldn't look at us, and when she moved, it was to run away. She still struggles to think that the leash is for going for walks and enjoying herself. But today we saw a smile we've never seen before, and she enjoyed some of the affection from one of our volunteers. There's a way to go with Palma, but today it gave us hope that maybe trust isn't as far away as it seemed at first.
