Trots hans svåra start trivs Ratatouille nu medan han lär sig att uppleva världen på sitt eget sätt. Vi räddade denna lilla krigare efter att han hittades i en sorglig situation och direkt tagits till veterinären. En av hans ögon hade skadats allvarligt före födseln så det måste tas bort direkt. Det andra ögat var också skadat och vi var inte säkra på om han någonsin skulle kunna se igen. Det visade sig att Dr. Scott Miller besökte just då och han hjälpte oss gärna att bedöma och diagnostisera den lilla Ratatouille. Med hans experteräddning körde vi alla tester vi kunde – FIV, FeLV och de vanliga orsakerna som kan orsaka skador under fostret – men till vår glädje visade det sig att Ratatouille var negativ för dem alla. Nu, med det små mängden syn i sitt ögon, lär han sig att navigera världen genom muskelminne, förtroende och kärlek. Han har blivit väldigt nära Akindi och vår son Iggy, hittande glädje, trygghet och lek i sitt nya hem. Trots allt han har förlorat trivs Ratatouille nu – nyfiken, kramig och livfull! Despite his rough start, Ratatouille is thriving as he learns to experience the world in his own way We rescued this tiny warrior after he was found in a heart-breaking state and taken straight to the vet. One of his eyes had been severely damaged before birth, so it had to be removed immediately. His remaining eye was also injured, and we weren’t sure if he would ever see again. It just so happens that Dr. Scott Miller was visiting at the time and he kindly helped us assess and diagnose little Ratatouille. With his expert guidance, we ran every test we could — FIV, FeLV, and all the usual suspects that can cause in-utero damage — but thankfully, Ratatouille tested negative for them all. Now, with the small amount of vision in his remaining eye, he’s learning to navigate the world through muscle memory, trust, and love. He’s bonded beautifully with Akindi and our son Iggy, finding joy, safety, and play in his new home. Despite everything he’s lost, Ratatouille is thriving — curious, cuddly, and full of life!
