En av våra mest akuta och sorgliga fall. Sailor förtjänar en liv utan kage. Du kanske har sett några av våra akuta uppmaningar om Sailor och Rex som behöver ett säkert hem. Tyvärr har Sailor nyligen förlorat sin bästa vän och kamrat, Rex, till en stroke. Så nu är det ännu viktigare att vi hittar honom hans eviga hem. Sailor och Rex spenderade de flesta av sina liv i kagor, flyttade från skyddshem till skyddshem. Tyvärr måste det skyddshem där de bodde plötsligt stänga. Enda alternativet för dem var att gå till ett stort statskyddshem eller komma till oss. Rex och Sailor var båda ganska nervösa och tysta hundar, så ett stort skyddshem var inte rätt plats för dem. Vi försökte hitta en bättre lösning för dem, men det fanns ingen som kunde ta emot dem på kort tid, så de kom till oss. Fattig Sailor har haft mycket. När han först kom till oss var han väldigt rädd för människor. Lyckligtvis gick han riktigt bra med Rex och Rex gav honom mycket emotionellt stöd. Som den lite mer självförsäkrade gick Rex fram och hjälpte Sailor att lära sig att lita på människor igen. Och våra fantastiska frivilliga har lagt mycket tid och kärlek till Sailor så att han har verkligen byggt upp sin självförtroende och tillit till människor. Han älskar att gå promenad och njuter av knyckling. Detta är fantastiskt att se med tanke på hur rädd han var när han kom. Han har en verkligt god karaktär och hans personlighet börjar verkligen lysa fram. Sailor behöver ett säkert och stilla hem där han kan fortsätta kliva ut ur sin skal, bygga tillit till människor igen och känna sig älskad. Han går bra med andra hundar så kan passa ett hem med en äldre, lugn hund. Detta snälla pojken förtjänar ett kärleksfullt hem där han kan uppleva ett glatt liv utan någon rädsla. Vi skulle absolut vilja hitta ett säkert och kärleksfullt hem hos någon som kan ge Sailor chansen han förtjänar. One of our most urgent and sad cases. Sailor deserves a cage-free live. You might have seen some of our urgent appeal posts about Sailor and Rex being in need of a safe home. Unfortunately, Sailor has recently lost his best friend and companion, Rex, to a stroke. So now it's even more important that we find him his forever home. Sailor and Rex spent most of their lives in cages, moving from shelter to shelter. Unfortunately the shelter where they were staying suddenly had to close. The only option for them was to go to a big state shelter or come to us. Rex and Sailor were both quite nervous and shy dogs, so a big shelter was not the place for them. We tried to find a better solution for them, but there was no one who could take them in on short notice, so they came to us. Poor Sailor has been through a lot. When he first arrived, he was very scared around people. Luckily he got along with Rex really well and Rex gave him a lot of emotional support. Being the slightly more confident one, Rex helped Sailor learn to trust people again. And our incredible volunteers have put so much time and love into Sailor that he has really built his confidence and trust around people. He now loves going for walks and enjoys cuddles. This is amazing to see considering how afraid he was when he arrived. He has a really sweet character and his personality is really starting to shine through Sailor needs a safe and quiet home where he can continue to come out of his shell, further build trust in people again and feel loved. He walks well with other dogs so may suit a home with one older, calm dog. This sweet boy deserves a loving home where he can experience a happy live without any fear. We'd love nothing more than to find a safe and loving home with someone who can give Sailor the second chance he deserves.
