Uno dei nostri casi più urgenti e tristi. Sailor merita una vita senza gabbie. Potresti aver visto alcuni dei nostri post di richiesta d'aiuto urgenti su Sailor e Rex che hanno bisogno di un casa sicura. Purtroppo Sailor ha recentemente perso il suo migliore amico e compagno, Rex, a causa di un ictus. Ora è ancora più importante trovare la sua casa per sempre. Sailor e Rex hanno trascorso la maggior parte della loro vita in gabbia, spostandosi da un rifugio all'altro. Purtroppo il rifugio dove si trovavano improvvisamente ha dovuto chiudere. L'unica opzione per loro era andare in un grande rifugio statale o venire da noi. Rex e Sailor erano due cani abbastanza nervosi e timidi, quindi un grande rifugio non era il posto adatto per loro. Abbiamo provato a trovare una soluzione migliore per loro, ma non c'era nessuno che potesse prenderli in breve tempo, quindi sono venuti da noi. Povero Sailor ha passato molto. Quando è arrivato per la prima volta era molto spaventato dalle persone. Fortunatamente si è comportato molto bene con Rex e Rex gli ha dato molto supporto emotivo. Essendo un po' più sicuro, Rex ha aiutato Sailor a imparare a fidarsi nuovamente delle persone. E i nostri incredibili volontari hanno dedicato tanto tempo e amore a Sailor che lui ha veramente costruito la sua fiducia e la sua confidenza verso le persone. Ora ama andare a passeggio e apprezza i coccoloni. È meraviglioso vedere considerando quanto era spaventato quando è arrivato. Ha un carattere davvero dolce e la sua personalità sta veramente iniziando a brillare. Sailor ha bisogno di una casa sicura e tranquilla dove possa continuare a uscire dal suo guscio, a costruire ulteriormente la fiducia nelle persone e sentirsi amato. Cammina bene con altri cani, quindi potrebbe adattarsi a una casa con un cane anziano e calmo. Questo dolce ragazzo merita una casa amorosa dove possa vivere una vita felice senza paura. Saremmo felici di trovare una casa sicura e amorevole per qualcuno che possa dare a Sailor la seconda opportunità che merita. One of our most urgent and sad cases. Sailor deserves a cage-free live. You might have seen some of our urgent appeal posts about Sailor and Rex being in need of a safe home. Unfortunately, Sailor has recently lost his best friend and companion, Rex, to a stroke. So now it's even more important that we find him his forever home. Sailor and Rex spent most of their lives in cages, moving from shelter to shelter. Unfortunately the shelter where they were staying suddenly had to close. The only option for them was to go to a big state shelter or come to us. Rex and Sailor were both quite nervous and shy dogs, so a big shelter was not the place for them. We tried to find a better solution for them, but there was no one who could take them in on short notice, so they came to us. Poor Sailor has been through a lot. When he first arrived, he was very scared around people. Luckily he got along with Rex really well and Rex gave him a lot of emotional support. Being the slightly more confident one, Rex helped Sailor learn to trust people again. And our incredible volunteers have put so much time and love into Sailor that he has really built his confidence and trust around people. He now loves going for walks and enjoys cuddles. This is amazing to see considering how afraid he was when he arrived. He has a really sweet character and his personality is really starting to shine through Sailor needs a safe and quiet home where he can continue to come out of his shell, further build trust in people again and feel loved. He walks well with other dogs so may suit a home with one older, calm dog. This sweet boy deserves a loving home where he can experience a happy live without any fear. We'd love nothing more than to find a safe and loving home with someone who can give Sailor the second chance he deserves.
