A grand name for a place where her life has long consisted of small moments: a bit of food, a familiar corner, a friendly hand, a safe distance until the next day. Samira lived outdoors, yet she never lost touch with people. She knows the paths of her neighborhood, the voices of her neighbors, and even the little dogs that have been part of everyday life there. She encounters them calmly and without fear—as if she’d long since understood that not every creature passing by poses a threat. Samira shares her origins from the same neighborhood as Balu. He, too, comes from the “Vatican” in Mostar and has already made his journey to happiness: he was allowed to travel to Germany on the last transport and now lives with his family. We’re now hoping for exactly this chance for Samira. She doesn’t necessarily need a second cat to be happy. Much more important to her is a reliable human companion, closeness, peace and quiet, and a place that feels like home—the moment you arrive. A small, dog-experienced dog could also be a great match for her.

Samira aus dem „Vatikan“ – wenn ein Straßenherz sich nach Ruhe sehnt ❤️ „Vatikan“ heißt der Teil von Mostar, aus dem Samira kommt. Ein großer Name für einen Ort, an dem ihr Leben lange aus kleinen Momenten bestand: ein Stück Futter, eine vertraute Ecke, eine freundliche Hand, ein sicherer Abstand zum nächsten Tag. Samira hat draußen gelebt, aber sie hat den Menschen dabei nie verloren. Sie kennt die Wege ihrer Gegend, die Stimmen der Nachbarn und auch kleine Hunde, die dort zum Alltag gehörten. Ihnen begegnet sie ruhig und ohne Angst, als hätte sie längst verstanden, dass nicht jedes Wesen, das vorbeiläuft, Gefahr bedeutet. Mit Balu teilt Samira ihre Herkunft aus derselben Gegend. Auch er stammt aus dem „Vatikan“ in Mostar und hat seine Reise ins Glück bereits geschafft: Mit dem letzten Transport durfte er nach Deutschland ausreisen und lebt nun bei seiner Familie. Viel wichtiger ist für sie ein verlässlicher Mensch, Nähe, Ruhe und ein Platz, der sich nach Ankommen anfühlt. Auch ein kleiner, katzenerfahrener Hund könnte gut zu ihr passen.
