Toffee söker ett lugnt landställe där hon kan fortsätta sin tränning. Hon vill ha sällskap hela tiden och en säker trädgård med gräs i sitt nya hem. Toffee är glad att välkomna folk till hemmet, hon hoppas och barker i början men lugnar sig snabbt och lägger sig. Hon kan ibland baka på okända människor när hon är ute men är mer benägen att göra det om de är tillsammans med en annan hund. Toffee är rädd för barn och har gnällt mot små barn i hemmet så vi söker ett hem utan barn, som bor där eller besöker. Toffee reser bra, hon är vän vid en hundplats i bakluckan och njuter av att kika ut genom fönstret. Toffee är lite rädd när en hund springer upp till henne, särskilt större hundar. Hon kan snuva dem i ett ögonkast och fortsätta gå. Hon har inte en aggressiv natur, men hon kan baka om hon ser en hund i fjärran. Toffee är god på leken och drar inte. Hennes återkomst är okej men hon är lätt distraherad, särskilt av kaniner eller ekorrar. Detta bör arbetas vidare i sitt nya hem. Toffee tål att tvättas men låter bara sin rygg bli borstad – hon tycker inte om att bli borstad på benen eller att hennes pinnar berörs. Men hon tål detta om hon får många godisar och pauser. Hon har varit okej hos hundvårdaren men får alltid en naturlig lugnande tablett innanför. Hon är också mycket rädd för bråttom. Toffee är nervös hos veterinären men är okej att undersökas. Hon är okej att lämna i några timmar och verkar inte ha separationsångest. Dock kan hon baka när hon lämnas i ett okänt ställe som ett hotellrum/villa. Toffee barker på ljud utanför hemmet som är ljudliga och okända. Toffee har aldrig varit på vaktstall. Toffee trivs med uppmärksamhet, kärlek och godisar. Hon är en riktig soffhund och är mycket nöjd med att krypa intill dig. Toffee älskar promenader och njuter av att utforska och snuska runt. Toffee is looking for a quiet rural home that can continue her training. She would like company most of the time and a secure garden with grass in her new home. Toffee is excited to welcome people to the home, she will jump and bark initially but settles quickly and will lie down. She may occasionally bark at unfamiliar people when out and about but is more likely to do so if they are with another dog. Toffee is scared of children and has growled at young kids in the home so we are looking for a home with no children, living there or visiting. Toffee travels well, she is used to a dog seat in the back and enjoys looking out the window. Toffee is a bit scared when a dog runs up to her, particularly larger dogs. She may have a brief sniff of them and then continue walking. She does not have an aggressive nature, but she may bark if she sees a dog in the distance. Toffee is good on the lead and does not pull. Her recall is okay but she is easily distracted, particularly by rabbits or squirrels. This should be worked on in her new home. Toffee will tolerate being washed but will only allow her back to be brushed – she does not like to be brushed on her legs or her paws being touched. But she can tolerate this if given plenty of treats and breaks. She has been okay at the groomers but is always given a natural calming tablet beforehand. She is also very afraid of fireworks. Toffee is nervous at the vet but is fine being examined. She is fine being left for a few hours and does not seem to have separation anxiety. However, she can bark when left in an unfamiliar place such as a hotel room/holiday home. Toffee barks at loud, unfamiliar sounds outside the home. Toffee has not been to boarding kennels before. Toffee thrives on attention, love and treats. She is a real lap dog and is very happy to curl up beside you. Toffee loves going for walks and enjoys exploring and sniffing around.
