Delilah is a rough-coated Lurcher who is a bright, bouncy bundle of fun, ready to bring love and endless tail wags into her forever home. Full of youthful energy, she thrives on companionship and activity. She absolutely adores other dogs and would benefit from a canine friend. Currently in foster, she has successfully lived with cats and chickens. House trained and can be left for up to three hours, though needs ongoing support for longer periods. Strong on lead with recall still developing - would benefit from training classes. Suitable for children 14+ and active families who enjoy outdoor adventures.

Delilah is a rough-coated Lurcher who is a bright, bouncy bundle of fun, ready to bring love, laughter and endless tail wags into her forever home. Full of youthful energy and enthusiasm, Delilah is always keen to be involved in whatever her people are doing and thrives on companionship and activity. Delilah absolutely adores other dogs and can get very excited when meeting them. She would thrive in a home with another well-adjusted canine friend to play and learn from, although she could also live as the only dog provided she has regular opportunities to socialise and make doggy friends. Currently living in foster, Delilah has successfully shared her space with cats and chickens and has done brilliantly, meaning she could potentially live with similar animals again in the right home and careful management. Delilah has done great with her house training and can currently be left for up to three hours. As a young dog, she will need ongoing support to gradually build up longer periods alone, as she can sometimes entertain herself in creative ways! She will also need continued management and training around food, as she has been known to help herself to tempting items left on counters. Out on walks, Delilah loves exploring but can be strong on lead, and her recall is still a work in progress. She would benefit from attending reward-based training classes to continue building on the great foundations she already has and to help channel her energy positively. Delilah could live with children aged 14 years and over who are comfortable around lively, bouncy dogs and understand the importance of giving her space when needed. This fun-loving girl would suit an active family or individual who enjoys the outdoors and is looking for a four-legged companion to join them on their adventures. With the right guidance and plenty of love, Delilah will make a wonderful addition to her future home. Published: 2nd February, 2026 Updated: 16th Apri
