Ned is a charming 9 year old Norfolk Terrier. This handsome little gentleman is wonderfully sociable with both people and dogs. On walks, he’s always keen to say hello, happily greeting other dogs and people with curiosity and enthusiasm (he does seem to have a particular soft spot for spaniels!). Ned absolutely adores his daily adventures, he can be a little strong on the lead at times, especially when something exciting catches his eye, but he responds well with distraction. At home, Ned is a true sweetheart. He’s done great with his housetraining, knows sit, and has impeccable manners. He’s shown no signs of destructive behaviour and can be left for short periods, up to around 3 hours without issue. That said, he does love company and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, he simply enjoys being close to his humans. Ned currently lives with other dogs in his foster home and generally gets along well, though he does enjoy being the centre of attention and can occasionally nudge others aside when he’s after affection. Because of this, he may be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love, but he could also live with calm, respectful canine companions. He travels brilliantly in the car and enjoys trips out. He could live with sensible children aged 6 and above. Ned is a gentle, affectionate, and joyful companion who will make a wonderful best friend to a lucky home.
