Zucco is a sweet young lurcher who is still finding his paws in the big wide world. He can feel a little unsure in new situations, but with gentle reassurance and a bit of time, his confidence begins to shine through. Once Zucco gets to know you, he forms lovely bonds and shows his affectionate nature, often leaning in for cuddles and enjoying time with his favourite people. He’s a sensitive soul who will thrive with kind, patient adopters who can help him continue building his confidence at his own pace. As he is still developing his social skills, Zucco is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, allowing him the space and time to grow without feeling overwhelmed. He can live with children aged 14 and over who understand his need for a calm and gentle approach. Zucco would benefit from adopters who are happy to visit him a few times at the centre to build a bond before heading home. With the right support and encouragement, he has all the potential to grow into a loving and loyal companion who will truly blossom in his forever home.
