Austin is a lovely young Shetland pony, just under 2 years old, with a fantastic personality and a bright future ahead of him. Friendly, affectionate, and full of charm, he absolutely loves attention and enjoys spending time with people. He also gets on very well with other small horses, making him a great companion. Scroll to read more. Austin has had a difficult start in life. He came from Ballinasloe, where, at just 5–6 months old, he had already experienced far too much, including having multiple people riding him at once. When he arrived into our care, he went straight into a foster home where he received the extra care, time, and patience he needed to learn how to simply be a pony. Although he was initially very nervous, Austin has come out of his shell beautifully. He’s now a cheeky, confident little character who is easy to manage and a joy to be around. He is already gelded and ready to find a loving forever home. Austin would make a wonderful family pet and, in a couple of years when he is more mature, he could also be gently broken and brought on further.
