Bernie is a 6-and-a-half-year-old Golden Doodle with a big soft side once he feels safe and secure. With his family, he enjoys being close, sharing cuddles, and spending time chilling together. If you are wondering how to win Bernie’s heart, the answer is simple: treats, tug-toys, and games. Tug ropes are a firm favourite, he loves chasing balls and a game of hide and seek with his toys is guaranteed to get his tail wagging. He also knows his basic training, is housetrained and is a very good passenger in the car, making trips out together easy and enjoyable. Bernie is not keen on lots of visitors or young children, but in the right home, his loving, playful side really shines through. If you have a calm home, a gentle routine and are looking for a loyal companion who will reward you with affection, fun, and plenty of cuddles, Bernie could be the perfect match. Home requirements: Bernie is dreaming of a peaceful home where life is nice and predictable. He prefers the quieter things, so he will be happiest in a calm household with minimal visitors, where he can truly relax without lots of hustle and bustle. He is looking to be the only pet in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for himself. A private garden is a must for Bernie, giving him a safe space to potter about, enjoy a sniff, or have a quick game before heading back indoors for a snooze. Bernie is looking for an adult only home.
