Adopt Blue

Akita · Male · Young · 2 years

About BlueBlue is a really sweet boy who had a very difficult start in life, but he is now ready for a fresh start with a loving family who can give him the happy future he deserves. Blue is a young, friendly and truly lovely lad who approaches life with enthusiasm. He loves to be out and about and makes the most of every adventure. Blue has a real zest for life and always seems to have a smile on his face. He would love a family who enjoy getting outdoors and can take him on lots of exciting walks and adventures to help him make up for everything he has missed out on. Blue is a happy and affectionate dog who enjoys being around his people and will make someone a fantastic and loyal companion. He is fully house trained, settles well in the home and is not destructive. He also loves playing with his toys and enjoys spending time having fun with his favourite people. Blue is sociable with other dogs and could live with another dog of a similar size, following a successful introduction at the centre. He can sometimes be a little enthusiastic, so he would benefit from adopters who are happy to continue with some basic training to help him remember his manners. As an Akita, we would ideally love to find adopters who have experience with the akita breed and understand their needs. Blue could live with older teenagers and possibly another similar size dog.
