This very sweet and playful Spaniel Chase is looking for an understanding home where he can rebuild confidence and enjoy being a much loved family companion. He has a warm, affectionate nature and adores spending time with people. He has previously lived with children and could potentially do so again, provided they are calm, respectful, and able to give him the time and space he needs to settle into a new home at his own pace. He can be a sensitive boy, so a gentle, thoughtful approach from the whole household will help him feel safe and secure. True to his breed, he loves his walks and enjoys getting out and about, though he can be quite strong on the lead, particularly when wanting to get to a smell! He currently walks on a harness, which helps, but his future family should be prepared to continue positive lead training. He is able to pass other dogs calmly and can greet them, though he can sometimes lack confidence when saying hello and may need extra space to feel comfortable. Because of this, he is not currently suitable to live with other dogs or cats, and gentle intros to other dogs out and about will be needed.
