Ihre Babies haben alle ein gutes Zuhause gefunden, nur Chaya noch nicht. Sie war auch zunehmend mit der Tierheimsituation überfordert, dadurch sehr nervös gepaart mit großer Unsicherheit, da sie nichts kennengelernt hatte.Nun ist Chaya seit ein paar Monaten auf einer Pflegestelle und das tut ihr sichtbar gut. Sie hat auf ihr Sollgewicht zugenommen und genießt die Ruhe, die sie auch braucht um in ihrem Tempo zu lernen. Denn sie möchte alles richtig machen, man muss ihr nur zeigen wie. Dabei hilft, dass sie sehr menschenbezogen ist und Streicheleinheiten und Kontaktliegen gern mag. Inzwischen kommt sie gut runter, wenn man ihr einen Platz zuweist und so kann sie einige Stunden entspannt allein bleiben.Dazu braucht sie dann aber auch ihre Bewegung, gern mit ausgedehnten Spaziergängen, die aber schon beim Aufbruch ohne Hektik stattfinden. Es ist wichtig, dass der Führende ständig präsent ist und sie anleitet, damit sie die zahlreichen Umweltreize meistern kann. Diese souveräne, ruhige Führung nimmt sie dankbar an und kann sich so an ihrem Menschen orientieren. Besonders wichtig ist das bei Hundebegegnungen, da sie hier dazu neigte, aus der Aufregung heraus nach vorn zu gehen oder sogar gegen den Menschen umlenkte. Deshalb wird sie zur Sicherheit mit einem Maulkorb geführt. Mittlerweile machen sich diese Probleme kaum noch bemerkbar, sie geht sogar mit ihr fremden Hunden zusammen gassi, die sie dann in aller Ruhe auf Distanz kennenlernen kann.Chaya hat wirklich viel gelernt und kann jetzt so richtig zeigen, dass in ihr ein eine tolle Hündin steckt, mit der zu arbeiten sich lohnt und auch Spaß macht.
