Chenel came to us after we were alerted that a galguero no longer wanted three of his dogs — and had even stopped feeding them. In his short life, Chenel had very little contact with kindness. Like so many galgos, he was simply used and then discarded when no longer needed. Despite this, Chenel is a lovely young boy. He may be a little timid at first, but his true nature quickly shines through — he loves to play, run, and enjoy life just as a young dog should. More than anything, Chenel longs to discover what it truly means to be loved. A home where food is certain, where kindness is constant, and where he can finally feel safe and cherished. He is ready to leave his past behind and begin a new life full of love. All he needs now is someone to show him the way.
