Adopt Cindy

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 8 months

Cindy is an almost 8 month old Cocker Spaniel whose elderly owner was taken into hospital leaving her with no-one to care for her. Like many Cockers, Cindy has a tendency to guard resources, if there is something in her mouth that you would like back, you may have a little battle on your hands! Please bear this in mind if offering Cindy a home. Cindy is immaculately behaved and trained in so many ways. She is not destructive, she is house-trained and is easy to walk on the lead. She mixes very well with other dogs. It is only the resource guarding that people need to be mindful of and to be committed to working on with both patience and firmess! Because of this behaviour we will not be rehoming Cindy to any home where there are children under 12. Over the years we have had plenty of dogs surrendered to our rescue due to possession issues with the children so we would like to avoid similar issues with Cindy.
