About Cooper

Meet Cooper 💛Cooper is a gentle four-year-old boy searching for a very special kind of home. He’s a sensitive soul who will thrive with patient guidance and understanding, rewarding kindness with a deeply loyal and loving companionship. This sweet lad can find new people a little overwhelming, and will need time and space to build trust at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his affectionate nature really begins to shine. Cooper has already made lovely progress with our team, particularly with female handlers, forming strong bonds and enjoying quiet cuddles or even drifting off to sleep beside someone he trusts. He can still feel unsure around men, so a calm, pressure-free approach will help him continue to grow in confidence.Cooper is looking for a peaceful sanctuary where he can truly relax. His ideal home would be in a quiet location with minimal visitors, offering the stability he needs to feel secure. He would need an adult-only household and a secure garden with at least 6ft fencing, where he can safely explore his surroundings. Cooper would prefer to be the only pet in the home, so he can enjoy all the attention for himself.Although he’d like to live as the only pet, Cooper has shown he can enjoy the company of other dogs out and about, happily playing with friends like Smokey and Charlie. He does have a natural chase instinct, so a home without cats or small animals will be important.Cooper is a clever boy who already knows “sit” and is doing well with his harness and lead training. While busy or crowded situations can still worry him, he is building confidence more each day.For someone patient and understanding, who is happy to let him take life at his own pace, Cooper will become a wonderfully devoted companion. Offer him a quiet, steady home, and you’ll discover a shy but truly special best friend who will treasure his place by your side.
