Background Meet Crystal, a single female gerbil. Crystal came to Raystede when she sadly lost her companion. She is ready to start the search for a new compatible female friend. Crystal loves burrowing in her deep bedding and making cosy nests and tunnels. She is quite shy however she has started to become braver and venture out in curiosity when staff are around. Ideal Home Crystal would prefer a quiet home with previous experience with gerbils. She requires a home with another single female gerbil. Children Must only be handled by experienced adults/older teens. Could live with calm, older children/teenagers. She is quick so will not be suitable for handling by young children. Other animals: Crystal is looking for a home with another female gerbil. Must be kept separate from any other animals in the home. Additional needs: A quiet and calm adopter with a patient and understanding nature. An enclosure of at least 100cm x 50cm x 50cm (bigger is always recommended if possible) with lots of digging space, foraging opportunities and plenty of enrichment to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
