Dexter is a 5-year-old Shepherd/Lab Cross. He’s a sweet lad who loves to play with toys and have a fuss from his handlers. He also loves his food, which is a great reward for continuing his training. He came into our care after being found as a stray so one of our staff took him for a little holiday to see how he’d get on in a home. Dexter exceeded all expectations! He wanted to explore lots and investigate every area but settled down and loved nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa. He’s happy to be left home alone for a couple of hours, is fully housetrained and good in the car too. Dexter is super-clever and is just looking for a family to give him a chance to show what a superstar he is. Dexter is a delightful boy who is full of beans. He would love to find an active home where any children are of secondary school age. Dexter has worked really hard on his doggy social skills and could live with another well-matched, playful pooch. In-centre mixes to check that they’ll get on will take place before adoption.
