Adopt Elwood

Mixed Breed · Male

Size:Elwood weighs about 19kg. Can live with:Elwood needs to be the only pet in the home. He has made doggie friends at the shelter but when we have previously homed him he struggles out and about around other dogs. Elwood originally came in on the 2nd of March via another rescue. He was an unclaimed stray and was found with his brother. Unfortunately Elwood has not had much luck in finding the right home as he really struggles with kennel life and needs an owner who will work with him and have time and patience to allow him to slowly decompress and settle in a new home. Elwood is a favourite here and our volunteers love taking him for nice long walks. He is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves company and really enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball. He would love his own garden to have zoomies in and burn off some of his energy before being taken for a nice walk. He certainly does not act his age! Elwood would like a Staffie experienced home who is willing to overlook the fact that he may not like all the other dogs and prefers human company. He could live with older children who are dog experienced. Elwood really needs to not be in kennels for too long as he finds the situation quite stressful. We are doing as much as we can for him here but it is not the same as a forever home! Are you the one willing to give him a chance at a new life?
