Adopt Honey

Cairn Terrier · Female · Senior · 10 years

Honey is a lovely girl who came in through no fault of her own. She loves people and is very affectionate when she wants to be, she also loves going on walks and is always keen to get going. She used to live with another dog and has been able to make friends with other dogs out on walks, she does however at times become vocal and seem to prefer walking in quieter areas away from other dogs. She doesn't enjoy sharing food, toys or her people with other dogs either so she needs to be the only pet going forward. Honey is quite a vocal dog and will make her feelings known by barking, both indoors and outdoors. Potential adopters should consider if her vocal nature would suit their home environment. Home requirements: Honey is a very sweet and friendly 10 year old Cairn Terrier who is still young at heart. She is looking to be the only pet in her next home and any children should be older primary school aged and above. She isn't keen on being left alone at the moment so any leaving hours would need to be introduced in a sensible, positive way. She has been getting used to travelling in the car and is slowly becoming more comfortable with this, especially if she can see you from the backseat. Honey has had some itchy skin previously which is now looking much better with twice weekly baths, this is something she'd need to continue in her new home. Honey is also awaiting a spay and a dental, potential adopters should be happy to take her to this appointment in Wymondham once that's been booked in. Available at Snetterton (Norfolk), Snetterton
