Temperament: friendly Karina has likely lived a life of cruelty and unkindness before coming into our care, she is nervous, shy and very scared of new experiences and people. As such, she needs a dedicated family who are very dedicated to giving Karina the time and patience she needs to learn that she is safe. It may take time to build a bond with Karina and there may be some things she may never feel confident to do, like travel on a bus or socialise frequently with new people and her new home needs to reflect this. Karina may also benefit from a resident dog who is calm and relaxed to show her the ropes. Adopters will be given support and guidance from our experienced team and we believe in time Karina can learn to live a happy, secure life with the support and love of her new family. Further, as Karina is a pomeranian mix, her coat will need daily grooming and adopters will need to be able to accommodate for this and her frequent shedding.
