Adopt Lucy & Chase

Yorkshire Terrier · Unknown · Adult · 8 years

Lucy and Chase are fantastic little dogs who came to the centre via an inspector after their needs were not getting met. They have patiently been waiting such a long time due to ongoing legal proceedings. They can now finally start looking for their happy ending. Lucy and Chase really are the sweetest little dogs, they have been an absolute delight to take care of and it has been an honour to get them rehabilitated and ready to find themselves a family of their very own Lucy and Chase have been having time out of the kennels and have been going on home breaks with a couple of members of staff so we have some guidance on what to look for with their new family. They are both very loving, affectionate and friendly dogs who can be a bit on the needy side too. They will definitely need a family who will allow them on the furniture and also to snuggle up on their laps. They will need a family who are willing to allow them upstairs to sleep, even if it in their own beds in the bedroom, sleeping on the bed would be an added bonus for them. They do become a little anxious when they are left on their own so adopters will need to be at home most of the time and help them overcome their insecurities when being on their own. Lucy and Chase really will make such wonderful additions to the family, they absolutely deserve the very best in life after all they have been through. They are completely bonded with one another so we will be homing them as a pair. They have previously lived with cats and can live with cats again. They would prefer the quieter life so could live with children aged 10 years and over. They are best to be the only dogs in the home.
