Adopt Master Shifu

Meet Master Shifu, a 3 year old Chinese Crested dog that came into us when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a sweet dog that can be wary of new people so will take a few meets to accept someone new. Any potential owner will require patience and understanding. Once Shifu loves you, he is a very loyal and devoted companion. He likes to follow you around and will curl up on your lap. As he is mostly hairless, he also enjoys creeping under your jacket or clothing to share your warmth. Due to his breed, Shifu would need to be bathed weekly and have sun cream applied regularly to avoid skin damage and burning. In warmer weather, he would need to be walked either early in the morning or after the sun has gone down. Shifu can be worried by other dogs and gets very vocal with anything that he feels threatened by. He takes time to get used to new situations but with regular interactions, he becomes more tolerant with time. This little chap has the potential to make a wonderful companion for the right home.
