Background: Meet the Mexican Mischief - Burrito, Fajita, Quesadilla, Enchilada, a group of female rats. The girls came to Raystede as their previous owner no longer had enough time to dedicate to their care. They all absolutely love their food and are busy girls who love coming to see what you are up. They can often be found cosied up together in a lovely rat snuggle puddle. Ideal Home: The girls are fairly confident and tolerate handling. However, they can still be fast and wriggly so are looking for a home with an experienced rat owner to provide them with lots of fun enrichment to keep them entertained. Burrito (black) is the shyest of the group and will hang back a little bit and observe. She will need patient adopter to give her the time she needs for her confidence to grow. Children: They would be best suited to a home with experience in rat ownership. Could potentially live in a home with older children who are confident and experienced with interacting with rats. Other animals: They must be kept separate to any other types of animals in the home. They could potentially join an existing mischief, personality and enclosure size permitting. Additional needs: An adopter with experience with rat ownership and creating a very fun an enrichment home!
