When one of our external helpers was on her way to start her shift, she met the female Miri on the road. The little girl was completely disorientated and walked on the road without any sense of traffic. In short, she decided to follow our helper, and went after her until the PLACE for STRAYS – as if she knew she would find help here. Having arrived at the Shelter, she was quite excited and nervous about new people, especially when touching. She didn't have a chip, and even in the area, we couldn't find anyone looking for the female dog. This is how Miris Instinkt, to follow our helper, ultimately helped her to find her own home through us, hopefully. Miri is now in the Shelter for over half a year and has lived well. When she moved in, Miri saw something pregnant, but she was probably just pregnant. Now she has our Shelter-Welps as hers and so she helps our Volunteers to educate. In humans, Miri is still picky, as she decides the sympathy! Our Miri apparently knows exactly what she likes and looks very carefully for her cuddly partners. Als eine unserer externen Helferinnen unterwegs war, um ihre Schicht zu beginnen, begegnete ihr auf der Straße die Hündin Miri. Die Kleine war völlig orientierungslos und lief ziellos auf der Straße umher, ohne jegliches Gespür für den Verkehr. Kurzerhand entschloss sie sich, unserer Helferin zu folgen, und lief ihr bis zum PLACE for STRAYS nach – als ob sie wüsste, dass sie hier Hilfe finden würde. Im Shelter angekommen, war sie ziemlich aufgeregt und nervös gegenüber neuen Menschen, insbesondere beim Anfassen. Sie hatte keinen Chip, und auch in der Umgebung konnten wir niemanden ausfindig machen, der die Hündin suchte. So hat Miris Instinkt, unserer Helferin zu folgen, ihr letztlich dabei geholfen, durch uns doch hoffentlich bald ein eigenes Zuhause zu finden. Miri befindet sich nun schon über ein halbes Jahr bei uns im Shelter und hat sich gut eingelebt. Als sie eingezogen ist sah Miri ja etwas trächtig aus aber vermutlich war sie einfach Schein schwanger. Nun hat sie unsere Shelter-Welpen als die ihren auserkoren und so hilft sie unseren Volunteers bei der Erziehung. Bei Menschen ist Miri aktuell noch wählerisch, da entscheidet bei ihr die Sympathie! Unsere Miri weiß anscheinend ganz genau was ihr gefällt und sucht sich ihre Kuschelpartner ganz sorgfältig aus. Wir halten euch über ihre Entwicklung weiterhin auf dem Laufenden.
