Adopt Obi

Poodle · Male · Young · 2 years

Obi is deeply bonded with his sister Leia and is looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Leia is a sweet but sensitive girl who relies on Obi for reassurance and confidence. She can be nervous around new people and will need patient adopters willing to meet her several times and allow her to build trust at her own pace. Leia and Obi would both benefit from further work with confidence building, being left alone, housetraining, and car travel.- Obi is the braver of the pair and once he knows you he is happy to receive a fuss and a cuddle, he is more relaxed out and about, although he is nervous you can see he has an inquisitive side and wants to explore. - Leia is playful, enjoys toys and meaty treats, and can be affectionate once she feels safe. She just takes a bit longer to relax around new people and prefers to approach in her own time. Together, Obi and Leia would flourish in a quiet, understanding home committed to helping them settle back into home life. With time, patience, and consistency, they will make a loving and rewarding addition to the right family. - Obi is currently having some on going medical tests that will be discussed in full with any potential adopters and he on a urinary diet as he has previously suffered with bladder stones. Home requirements: Obi is a friendly, kind-natured boy of around two years old who enjoys meeting new people and will happily approach to say hello. He thrives on human company, loves a game with a tennis ball, and enjoys showing affection once he feels comfortable. Obi would suit a calm, patient home with adopters who understand that he and his sister Leia are still learning about the world. Both dogs are under-socialised and can feel worried by new environments, noises, and especially other dogs, so would benefit from a secure outdoor space of their own to help with gentle ongoing confidence-building. Obi can struggle when left alone and may become vocal, so any time apart will need to be introduced g
