About Pip

Pip is a clever, sensitive girl who is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can truly feel safe and settled. New environments can be a bit overwhelming for her at first, so she’ll need patient, understanding owners who are happy to let her take things at her own pace. When she feels unsure, she can find it hard to cope, but with kindness and reassurance she is already starting to relax and show her lovely personality. She can be a little sensitive to touch in the beginning and may not always want lots of fuss straight away, so it’s important to let her come to you and choose how she interacts. As her confidence grows, she forms strong bonds and really enjoys affection, showing just how loving she can be.Pip is generally neutral around other dogs and is happy to walk past them, but she prefers not to have close interactions and is most comfortable keeping her space. She will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing where she can safely stretch her legs. Pip is a very smart girl who already knows commands like sit, down, back and wait. She absolutely loves her toys, especially soft toys and tennis balls, and enjoys a good game of fetch. She responds well to training and, true to her collie nature, really enjoys having a job to do, including agility-style activities.Pip would be best suited to someone who understands dog body language and has experience with collies or more sensitive dogs. With the right home, time and patience, she will grow into a loyal, affectionate companion and a truly rewarding dog to have by your side.
