We took in the friendly Polly on October 22, 2025, from a neglectful situation. She's now thriving at the shelter, but we don't want her to stay there permanently. We're looking for a suitable home for this affectionate, brown and black lady – preferably on one level and in a rural setting, as Polly isn't getting any younger. However, you'd hardly guess her ten years, as this Strobel mix loves being outdoors with her people and needs both physical and mental stimulation. Polly has quickly won everyone over with her charming personality and enjoys plenty of cuddles. A home with older children or teenagers might be possible. We can't assess whether Polly can be left alone for a few hours at a time while at the shelter. This eager-to-please dog walks beautifully on a leash and gets along well with other dogs. Die freundliche Polly haben wir am 22. Oktober '25 aus schlechter Haltung übernommen. Nun blüht sie im Tierheim auf, wo sie aber auf Dauer nicht bleiben soll. Wir suchen für die verschmuste, braun-schwarze Hundedame ein geeignetes Zuhause – möglichst ebenerdig und im ländlichen Umfeld, denn Polly ist nicht mehr ganz „taufrisch“. Ihre zehn Jahre merkt man der Mix-Strobel-Hündin jedoch kaum an, denn sie ist gerne mit ihren Menschen draußen unterwegs und möchte körperlich sowie geistig ausgelastet werden. Polly hat sich mit ihrer charmanten Art schnell ins Herz aller geschlichen und genießt ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten. Ein Zuhause, in dem etwas ältere Kinder bzw. Jugendliche leben, wäre evtl. möglich. Ob Polly stundenweise allein bleiben kann, ist im Tierheim nicht zu beurteilen.
