Female · Adult · 6 years

Personality & BehaviorPrincesa’s story is one of neglect and survival. Rescued from a shepherd in Faro, she was found in a heartbreaking stat, her intestines hanging out, left untreated and ignored. We rushed her to emergency surgery, and against all odds, she recovered beautifully. Now, she is safe at the shelter, waiting for a home where she can truly heal, not just physically, but emotionally too. This calm and shy girl is still learning to trust people. She lacks experience with human affection, but once she feels safe, she has the most adorable way of showing her happiness, a special little "smile" that may seem like a grimace at first but is really her unique way of expressing joy. Adoption RequirementsHome type : A peaceful and patient home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. Not suitable for a loud or chaotic environment—she needs a gentle atmosphere to feel safe.Experience : A kind and understanding owner who will give her the love and reassurance she never had before.Other pets/kids : A home with or without other dogs, she shares her space at the shelter without any issues.learn more about adoption Tiny ShelterAlbufeira, SponsorIn-Kind DonationsTeaming Group How to helpDonateFosterVolunteer GeneralAbout UsContactNews © 2026 Tiny Shelter | credits
