Puma has been staying at our hostel since March 2025 but could not have been released for adoption before due to an unregulated legal situation. Fortunately, we can now announce the Puma and find him a cabin. We are very worried about Puma, he has spent almost a year behind bars. For a young, energetic, vibrant dog, it's a drama. In addition, Puma does not have a sub-series, so especially now in winter it is very freezing, and in the shelter it lives in an external bunk. Puma may and will respect, but the heart has a good, beautiful and loving. Puma is a young, about 3 year old dog. Apart from the first moments after leaving the pen and when there are other Puma dogs nearby, he is polite and walks on a leash nicely. He doesn't destroy, he doesn't remove the straw from the stall, he doesn't remove the curtain. Especially now that it's cold, he spends a lot of time in the cabin, and his only moments of joy are max 2 walks a week during which he can explore and spend time with a man. What's Puma like? Physically, he is distinguished by incredible strength and endurance. He runs out of the shelter joyfully and quickly, wanting to leave the shelter walls as soon as possible. Puma is a dog with huge energy levels. He needs active time, long walks, fun and running. He loves to play with a struggle, during which one can see how powerful this dog is. Puma is also extremely capable, intelligent, smart and very willing to learn and work with man. He knows the command of "sit" and "give the foot." He is currently in the process of learning the commands "stay", "seek" and "wheel". He lacks a little patience, but for a shelter dog who doesn't have basic dog needs, he still has a lot of it and he learns quickly. You can see the spark in his eyes and happiness when a man works with him. Puma loves smelly fun, searching for crisps in the grass, as well as the level higher, i.e. in the bark of trees gives him amazing fun and provides fatigue not only physical but also mental. Establishing a relationship with the Puma and building a relationship with it based on mutual trust can take a while. The puma to those he knows and trusts is more obedient, more eager. cooperates and has more enthusiasm for learning. He likes to be petted and particularly appreciates scratching his backs Sometimes it resists the whole body weight for a man and asks for a smyranko. During walks, the eye contact with humans is increasingly common. Clearly Puma attaches himself to the guardian, he is friendly and loyal, and to happiness he very much needs a close relationship with the man What house Puma is looking for: No other animals. Unfortunately, the puma reactively reacts to some dogs. During the walks, he can pull very hard towards them and probably has no positive intentions. Ad hoc helps redirect his attention to, for example, finding flavors in the grass. Of course, the future home should work with Puma to solve this problem, so that walks in places where other dogs are not oppressive and Puma was able to pass at least calmly by other quadrupeds.
