Actually it was just a call for help: a litter of puppies should be saved from a bush. But when we arrived on site, we did not stumble badly – more and more small fur noses came out of the thicket. In the end we were able to secure and secure a total of 12 puppies – including Rossana. The little ones had lived without human contact so far and were shy accordingly. With much patience and the help of a trap, we managed to gradually take them to our care. Now they are with us in the PLACE for STRAYS, where they get food, medical care and finally security. Rossana now lives almost half a year in the PLACE for STRAYS and develops into a great young female. While their siblings are already adopted or are on a care center, our pretty Rossana is waiting for her perfect match. The young dog lady is more shy and behaves in a new situation. While acting very open and playful in the pack, the first walks were creepy and associated with fears. But here too, it makes small progress from time to time and was already involved in car trips and larger trips. Eigentlich war es nur ein Hilferuf: Ein Wurf Welpen sollte aus einem Gebüsch gerettet werden. Doch als wir vor Ort ankamen, staunten wir nicht schlecht – aus dem Dickicht kamen immer mehr kleine Fellnasen hervor. Am Ende konnten wir insgesamt 12 Welpen sichern und in Sicherheit bringen – darunter auch Rossana. Die Kleinen hatten bislang völlig ohne Menschenkontakt gelebt und waren entsprechend scheu. Mit viel Geduld und der Hilfe einer Falle gelang es uns, sie nach und nach in unsere Obhut zu nehmen. Nun sind sie bei uns im PLACE for STRAYS, wo sie Futter, medizinische Versorgung und endlich Geborgenheit bekommen. Rossana lebt nun schon fast ein halbes Jahr im PLACE for STRAYS und entwickelt sich zu einer tollen Junghündin. Während ihre Geschwister bereits adoptiert sind oder sich auf einer Pflegestelle befinden, wartet unsere hübsche Rossana noch auf ihr perfect match. Die junge Hundedame ist eher schüchtern und verhält sich in neuen Situation zurückhaltend. Während sie im Rudel sehr offen und spielerisch agiert, waren die ersten Spaziergänge für sie gruselig und mit Ängsten verbunden. Doch auch hier macht sie von mal zu mal kleine Fortschritte und war auch schon bei Autofahrten und größeren Ausflügen dabei. Wir wünschen uns für Rossana Menschen die Lust haben Zeit in Training zu investieren sowie Geduld und Verständnis für die schüchterne Maus aufbringen.
