Adopt Roxy

Mixed Breed · Female

Size:Roxy weighs about 10.5kg. Can live with:Roxy has walked well with other dogs at the shelter. Although she is friendly with most of them, she he can be a little feisty with some so we feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Roxy came in on the 11th of November via an Inspector. She arrived in very poor condition with extremely sore skin that was very uncomfortable for her. She was a very crotchety girl to begin with due to being in such discomfort and would let you know how unhappy she was by baring all her teeth for you to not touch her! After several baths, antibiotics and other treatments to stop her feeling so itchy, Roxy is a changed dog and now ready to start looking for a new home. Roxy is a happy, friendly girl who loves a good neck or bum scratch. She enjoys her walks and loves a good roll around in the grass. Roxy likes her food and will sit and give paw for a tasty treat. She also likes to play ball but we make sure she doesn’t overdo it as she is an older lady. She does still have the odd grumpy moment if she is not feeling quite right but will let you know that she wants to be left alone. Roxy enjoys walks with her canine friends but will nicely let them know if they are too boisterous for her. She is looking for an experienced owner who can manage her quirky personality and would prefer a home without children. She has a lot of love to give and will make a great addition in the right home.
