Salem has recently come into our care after it became clear that his previous home environment wasn’t quite the right fit for him. While he was kept as an indoor cat, Salem showed a strong desire to explore the outdoors, something his previous owner sadly couldn’t provide. Salem is a gentle boy who can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but with time, patience, and understanding, he begins to come out of his shell. He’s looking for a calm and supportive home where he can build confidence at his own pace. In his new home, Salem will need safe outdoor access so he can enjoy the freedom he has been missing. This will be key to helping him feel truly settled and content. Salem has no known history of living with other cats, dogs, or children. Because of this, he would be best suited as the only pet initially, with any introductions to other animals considered carefully once he has fully settled into his new environment. With the right home, Salem has so much potential to thrive and become a loyal, loving companion. He just needs someone willing to give him the time and space he deserves
