Adopt Violet

Mixed Breed · Female

Size:Violet weighs about 38kg. Can live with:Violet has lived with another dog and has made some doggie friends at the shelter. She can be boisterous and excited when meeting new dogs so could do with some further help to develop her social skills. Violet originally came in last September as an unclaimed stray. We found her a new home but unfortunately she was returned on the 21st of March due to a change in work circumstances. Violet is a lovely girl who knows sit, down, paw and her name and loves playing with toys. She is an affectionate, cuddly girl who tries to be a lap dog, despite her size! She can be strong on the lead but is learning to walk nicely – she would benefit from further training in her new home to help with this. Although Violet appears to be a happy, confident girl she is actually quite sensitive and can be worried out and about and in new situations. She will need to continue to have positive interactions with people and other dogs once she has settled in a new home. Violet is looking for an experienced, large breed owner who is prepared to invest time into her training and socialising. She will need her own garden.
