Adopt Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris

Infernal trio seeks a home with strong nerves. What does that even mean? Infernal trio! This had better be written very carefully, the typist who writes these texts for the cats here at the animal shelter. Otherwise, we'll show her what we're really capable of. She'll be surprised... we can be quite different. Indeed, yes. Then the house will really rock... That needed to be said. Actually, we are nice and friendly to everyone we meet. We love to play, romp, and cuddle. With something that also has fur! No mention of bipeds here! They're just here for feeding. And for cleaning out litter boxes... We belong to the 15-strong crew that has been mentioned several times already. We were also "collected," brought to the animal shelter, dewormed, treated for fleas, microchipped, and vaccinated. That's pretty mean. Someone could have told us beforehand. Anyway, we're glad to be back together in one big cat room. Cozy resting spots, hiding places, free access whenever you want. That's what we want in our new home too. You should bring a dose of patience; there won't be any touching right away or anything like that... And we only move in as a pair or with an existing cat companion. Moving in alone is not an option. We need fur... So if you're a biped with a lot of affection for paws, know that "now it must" doesn't work at all, but "much can and may" does... then you're exactly the right person for us. At least for food and litter box... PS: For your information: The small black one is Yoda, the tabby is Yaris, and the larger black one is Yudokus. Sorry, no better photo available. They come at us with a camera. Eww, yuck... PSS: Yoda has already moved into his new home! Animal adoptions are currently only by appointment. Therefore, we ask you to contact us in advance by phone at 05481 / 4146 or by email if you are interested in one of our animals. This cat needs outdoor access.

Kuschelige Liegeplätze, Versteckmöglichkeiten, Freigang, wann immer man will.

About Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris

What life with Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris looks like

Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris is a large puppy/kitten cat waiting at Tierheim Tecklenburger Land in Lengerich.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Tecklenburger Land handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Tecklenburger Land will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Tecklenburger Land early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yudokus, Yoda und Yaris and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
